My floral journey began while I was a university student, first working as a delivery person at a local flower shop. Before long, I moved into creating arrangements in the shop, where I spent over four and a half years learning the art of floristry hands on and soaking up every bit of experience. When the shop closed in 2017, I followed my heart and launched The Urban Blooms from home with the support of my family. In the early days, they were the ones helping me every step of the way. When my husband came into the picture, he quickly became my favorite weekend employee, jumping in wherever needed and making the long days a little more fun.

I specialize in fresh, stunning florals for weddings and events, from delicate boutonnieres to show stopping venue installations. Being home based allows me to offer beautiful designs at thoughtful pricing without the overhead of a storefront, while still pouring my heart into every arrangement. Although I have a full time job, flowers are my true passion and my happy place. My favorite flowers are all of them of course, but chamomile and peonies hold a special place in my heart.
